A Radio Visitor's Book 
For some months now Robin Russell has been the host at a fortnightly studio party held in the Glasgow headquarters of the BBC. He has brought to the microphone many interesting strangers to Scotland, but on this occasion he is confining his invitations to the many Scots who at Hogmanay take wing from the southern cities where they earn their livings in order to pay a flying visit to their native land.

The year that closes tonight has been full of interest for Scottish listeners. After the Coronation Their Majesties the King and Queen paid a memorable visit to Scotland. Since then the Exhibition buildings have been growing in stature, and everyone knows about Tait's Tower and other features which will not actually be on show until the opening date. 
A new Cunarder is being built at 
Clydebank ; and Scottish fishermen have been passing through a period of crisis. In drawing up this programme, therefore, George Blake has had much material from which to select. Among the. sadder events to be recalled will be the deaths of two distinguished Scotsmen, Sir James Barrie and Mr. Ramsay MacDonald.
