The National Trust for Scotland has recently inagurated a scheme for preserving and reconditioning representative examples of Scottish domestic architecture of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, not as museum pieces, but as dwellings. The case for preserving these old houses is to be discussed tonight by a representative of the Trust, an Edinburgh Town Councillor, an architect, and others.
