The action covers two days
'. Highland Holiday ' was first broadcast on December 7. It proved excellent entertainment and is therefore being revived. John Weir , second son of Lord Weir, who has written both words and music, repatriates (incognito) an attractive Highlander from a Canadian ranch to the estate he has inherited by the death of his brother. At this time the family castle is let to an American who has a lovely daughter. Lovely daughter and attractive Highlander meet and woo, and the course of true love runs smooth for a time. Then the factor of the estate, and villain of the piece, does all he can to kill romance. He wants to marry Mary himself. But everything ends happily. Needless to say, ' Highland Holiday ' is not intended to be a photograph of life in the Highlands today.
