This holiday incident occurs where the Southern- borders of Inverness march with Perthshire. The area is that bounded on the West by the High Pass of Drumochter, traversed by the Great North Road on its way from Pitlochry to Kingussie, and stretches East across the intervening hill ranges and the valley which broadens to the North into Glen Tromie.
