MR. TOM S. HALL , who is the editor of the Scottish Ramblers' Year Book, is an experienced hand at tramping, and has spent much of his leisure since the War in exploring Scotland. He is the founder of the Rucksack Club of Scotland (forerunner of the Youth
Hostel Association of Scotland), which was responsible for the erection of the first Youth Hostel in Great Britain ; and the founder and first president of the Glasgow and West of Scotland Ramblers' Federation.
