A serial shocker written and told by P. Caton Baddeley
In the deserted cottage Chloe Chatoner and Derek Vane had found an idiot boy, but their friends are still missing. Chloe tries to sleep until something drops on her face-drip, drip, drip. Then a stranger bursts in, and insists that he must search the house. There is a shot, and Derek dashes out of the house. As for Chloe, she hears a bumping noise, and then a moan. Derek returns and the police arrive. ' In a case of murder, I suspect everyone', the inspector said.... This summary of what has gone before may give listeners some idea of the thrills to expect in this serial tale.
