Sir Enoch Hill is Chairman of the Halifax Building Society Ltd. Mr. Whitton, was, until recently, the occupier of a condemned house in one of the great industrial cities of the North. Alderman Sir Miles E. Mitchell is a member of the Manchester Housing Committee. Mr. L. H. Keay is Housing Director to the City of Liverpool. The Rev. Charles Jenkinson is Chairman of the Leeds Housing Committee and the originator of a novel housing scheme in that city which s now being put into action.
