.Somewhere in Portrush tonight two unsuspecting holiday-makers will suddenly be confronted by a microphone with Raymond Glendenning behind it demanding, in those urgent tones of his, ' What d'vou think of .....?' Then, followed by BBC engineers,
Glendenning will rush off to push the microphone into all sorts of other Portrush noises, like dance halls, concert parties, and the Tattoo. He may even board the Giant Racer-so if there's a sudden break in the commentary you'll know he!s fallen off.
