A Radio Magazine for Listeners by Listeners Edited by Graeme Roberts
This is the first programme in the new series ' Ulster Weekly ', which was introduced by its editor and compere, Graeme Roberts , on Friday, July 1. Tonight Lynn Doyle contributes to the feature with a short story specially written for it ; there will be a two-minute poetry reading ; there will be the first episode of Sergeant McClung Speaks Out, by Olga Fielden ; and there will also be a General Knowledge test, for which listeners are invited to supply the questions — and, of course, the answers. The people to answer the questions at the microphone for the last-named item will be chosen from listeners.
Graeme Roberts again wishes to emphasise that this feature-should be regarded as the listeners' own programme ; suggestions and ideas will always be welcomed.
