run over the Clady Circuit,
County Antrim
A running commentary by GRAHAM WALKER at Aldergrove and RAYMOND GLENDENNING at the Grandstand
This race was first held fifteen years ago as a small amateur affair. Since then it has grown in importance until it is now one of the biggest events in the motor-cycling world. It boasts of the title of ' the fastest motor-cycle race in the world '. One of the features of the course is the famous seven-mile straight. Bumpy and undulating, it is a gruelling stretch and demands the utmost of man and machine.
A plan showing the entire course and the positions of the commentators is to be found on page 65.
