FRANCIS R. JACKSON : The Cabin-boy remembers '
Tonight's speaker went to sea as a cabin-boy on a barque bound for Brunswick. In Brunswick the sailmaker deserted, owing to a curious dream he had of impending disaster and took a number of the crew with him. The barque set sail, and the dream came* true. Possibly as a result, Mr. Jackson made this his first and last voyage.
