After being Health Visitor and School Nurse for the Staffordshire County Council, Alys Saville worked for large industrial concerns. At present she is hon. secretary to the public health section of the Royal College of Nursing (Birmingham branch).
Gwyneth Webster , of Retford,
Nottinghamshire, spent three years learning her job under a veterinary surgeon and then started kennels for boarding and breeding. She gave that up later and devoted herself entirely to looking after dogs.
