JAN BERENSKA AND HIS ORCHESTRA

Dorothy Megeney (soprano) from the Town Hall, Cheltenham 
Jan Berenska and his orchestra have been broadcasting regularly from Leamington Spa since 1933. 
The full orchestra consists of fifteen instrumentalists. Several of these have also broadcast as soloists. 
Jan Berenska himself gave a recital in Birmingham Town Hall on three instruments-piano, violin, and cello-at the age of fifteen. He was an early broadcaster as a soloist, and made a celebrity tour with Pete* Dawson. At one time he cönducted., the orchestra at the Futurist Cinema, Birmingham.
