T — ' Lamport Village calling'
This representation o Northamptonshire village life is compared by Walter Pitchford. First, the village as it is today will be described by a school-girl, then one of the oldest inhabitants will tell the story of his life in the village... Sir Charles Frederick , Bart., will give some reminiscences of fox-hunting ; he is an ex-Master of the Pytchley :
Gyles Isham. the actor, will give some extracts from a family diary kept in Lamport in 1671. The finale is a story of good luck, told by a Lamport woman.
