George C. Nash
This is one of a series in which George Nash, the well-known Ulster humorist, takes listeners on a tour of exploration of his attic, a mysterious treasure-house between the ceiling and the roof, where he has found all kinds of odd things from a Japanese earwig trap to a stuffed fish.
Nash has the priceless gift of finding humour in the humblest object, the simplest situation. In his attic he has found a rich mine of inspiration for his talks. A few bits of a grandfather clock revived the story of why he took the clock to pieces one rainy afternoon ; the counterfoil stump of an old cheque-book brought back a flood of entertaining reminiscence.
