MR. ESME PERCY , of the Macdona Players, who ran the Deutsche Theatre in Cologne for the Army of Occupation, has produced plays by many authors of distinction. He is the only actor who has played John Tanner in the six-hours' version of Shaw's Man and Superman. Speaking of this performance, Mr. Shaw has mentioned Mr. Percy as one of the ' forlorn hopes of advanced drama ' in this country.
