Versatility is often a dubious quality in an actress, for on the stage, to be good at many things is usually to be superlative at none. Miss Colleen Clifford, who makes a broadcast tour this week, is an exception to the general rule. She has undertaken. in turn, singing, dancing, light comedy, drama and character sketches - and made good in all these different departments of her art. It is, however, as an entertainer at the piano that Miss Clifford comes to the microphone and has at the same time, perhaps, found her truest metier. The evenings on which she is 'appearing' this week are as follows:- Monday, Daventry Experimental; Tuesday, Cardiff; Wednesday, Glasgow; Thursday, Bournemouth; Friday, Belfast; Saturday, Manchester.
