An Interlude: The Child of the Moor
A Romance in Prose and Song by Laurance E. Tanner.
The Story, of which only extracts can be given, reveals the Spirit of Nature (in the guise of a little girl) in her influence on David, a boy possessed of a singularly imaginative temperament. The author upholds a theory that Nature draws closer to humanity than is commonly recognized, both in sympathy and understanding. The scene is Exmoor.
