Many of our listeners have requested that we should again visit the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond , and you must picture us assembled round the camp-fire in the Glasgow Corporation Park at Balloch. The air is calm and pure and the water like a sheet of glass, reflecting the rays of the setting sun. Up the loch, and beyond the wooded islets, towers Ben Lomond , reddening in the sunset, while overhead an eagle and his mate are soaring in wide circles before returning to their eyrie for the night. Round the camp-fire are gathered a happy company of youths and maidens in happy mood, making the rocks and woods reverberate with their laughter and song.
The following will take part :-
LAWRENCE ANDERSON
(Compere),
SYDNEY NESBITT and his Ukulele,
THE KALUANS DANCE
BAND,
THE STATION CHOIR, and The Assembled Natives and Visitors will be invited to join in the choruses.
