A Summer Evening Programme.
Relayed from the Glasgow Corporation Park, Balloch, Loch Lomond.
Try to visualize the close of day on the banks of Loch Lomond on a fine summer evening. The air is calm and pure and tho water like a sheet of glass, reflecting the rays of the setting sun. Up the Loch, and beyond the wooded islets, towers Ben Lomond, reddening in the sunset, while overhead an eagle and his mate are soaring in wide circles before returning to their eyrie for the night.
Round the camp-fire are gathered a happy company of youths and maidens in happy mood, making the rocks and woods reverberate with their laughter and song.
