in a short play written by himself entitled
' The Little Shop'
Having made a welcome return to the stage and screen, Cyril Maude has recently added broadcasting to his many other triumphs. He has lived for a long time in one of the most delightful parts of Devonshire, and played an active part in it, village life, so no one is better qualified to tell a simple story of real country folk. Devonshire dialect will be featured, and it will be ' the real stuff ' ; but that dots not mean it will be unintelligible to non-Devonians. Nor will the play be wholly in dialect-far from it. Cyril Maude authorises us to say that he will not even attempt to speak it.
