A modern prologue, a sixteenth century play and back again to our own times for the epilogue ;—but 'the play's the thing ' and the centre of interest is a room in Cumnor Hall, once the residence of the Earl of Leicester. A thick, black curtain divides the sparsely furnished room from an outer hall, and here is reflected nne of the famous historical sidelights of the Elizabethan era.
