Scene: The interior of Flourette's
Cabaret.
This Operetta shows the comical consequences of the jealousy of Pierre, the Blacksmith, and Alphonse, the Shoemaker, who are both in love with Fleurette, the pretty landlady of the village cabaret.
A new stewpan and a pair of dancing shoes each play their part in bringing to a happy conclusion a very boisterous dinner party. Fleurette is discovered at the fireplace examining: with sorrow a broken stewpan.
