THE West London Hospital is the largest
General Hospital between Hyde Park Corner and Windsor. It has 226 beds, sixty of them added in the last two years to cope with an ever-increasing volume of work. This very necessary expansion entailed a heavy expenditure—£1,000a week-and as income has not increased with equal rapidity, the Hospital, which served nearly 50,000 people last year, is faced with a debt of over £26,000.
