"The child is father to the man." This transmission will contain certain elements of surprise, hut those who are familiar with the Edinburgh Children's Corner will have little difficulty in identifying some of the scenes and the voices of the performers. Among the musical numbers will be performed the Toy Symphonies of both Haydn and Romberg, with which many of our Listeners are no doubt acquainted, Hilaire Belloc's Cautionary Tales as set to music by Liza Lehmann, and groups of popular songs and instrumental pieces.

From the Dunedin Palais de
Danse.
