Mind Picture : Imagine Donnegan standing at the door of the Saloon in Whitehorse, a small town in the West of Arizona. Old Mac, a miner, who has been rendered almost completely deaf in a mine-blast accident, drifts along to buy some tobacco, and enters into conversation with the saloon-keeper. Listen, Donnegan sees Mac approaching and starts to speak.
