It has been a sad and eventful week for Mrs. Dale. She and Roddy have had to appear at the Magistrate's Court; Roddy's case was dismissed but Mrs. Dale was told that she must stand trial at the forthcoming Assizes. The abusive telephone calls have continued and Dr. Dale has had an anonymous letter. Mrs. Freeman has been trying to keep everyone interested by planning her Christmas Fair.
