Mrs. Dale writes; At last I managed to persuade Mrs. Sheans to go into a Rest Home, and I saw her safety off on the train! I feel very tired - I've had rather a time with the Sheans family and I'm depressed about Sally's problems too. Gwen still has her hands full with the Owens, too - I wonder how long they'll stay. One nice bit of news though - Sue and George have patched up their quarrel. I've decided to give myself a rest from everyone's troubles and go to King's Acre for a short holiday.
