Ivor's parents invited Joanna to stay with them for the weekend. Mrs. Maggs confessed to Mrs. Dale that Renee was not settling down in Kenton. Bob and Jenny finally decided to move to Wenderley. Mrs. Freeman agreed to speak at a meeting protesting against Sunday football on the common.
