Weston-super-Mare, Somerset Anthony Crosland has been Member of Parliament (Labour) for South Gloucestershire since 1950. He is a member of the Fabian Society Executive and was formerly a lecturer in economics at Oxford University.
Julian Amery is. Member of Parliament (Conservative) for Preston North. He is an author who has travelled widely in Europe, Canada, and the United States of America. During the war he organised the first military mission to the Yugoslav resistance movement and later joined the staff of General Carton de Wiart, Mr. Churchill's personal representative with Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek.
