As well as sharing their hopes and fears, viewers see how the pregnancy affects the rest of their world, from relationships with partners, friends and family to the impact on their education, body image and social life.

Caroline and her boyfriend Caine were 14 when they found out they were expecting a baby, and are now parents to baby Stanlee. Both still at school, they have no regrets about having Stanlee and juggle homework with childcare. It causes arguments, however: Caroline bears the brunt of baby duties because Caine's always on his bike with his mates. So, how will he get on having Stanlee for a day on his own?

In Norwich, 15-year-old Chloe also discovers the pressure that having a baby can bring. There's tension with boyfriend Gary, and her mum Lisa has to give up work when Chloe develops pre-eclampsia.

Can parents of spoilt teenagers and twenty-somethings reverse the years of over-indulging and mollycoddling?  

Thanks to them their kids have become bone idle, workshy and devoid of life skills. Now these parents have had enough. They want to use real life challenges to fast-track their overprotected brats into becoming fully functioning, independent adults in just four weeks.

With the prize of a round-the-world trip on offer, these eight 17- to 25-year-olds give up their home comforts for a house in south-east London where they must fend for themselves for the very first time - cooking, cleaning and, worst of all for them, working. In each episode the most useless kid is ejected by the people who made them what they are - their parents. 

The five remaining spoilt brats turn Del-Boy Trotter for the day when they are forced to run two stalls selling cheap goods at Portobello Market.  

Tension is rife between Nicky and Dogan after Dogan made it clear that he wants Nicky to be the next person evicted from the house. Nicky is finding life hard now that her main friend and ally Rachel is no longer there and doesn't take kindly to Dogan's continual baiting.  

As the kids have been surviving on trash, the parents decide to make them cook a healthy meal for each other every day - with interesting results.

My Big Decision, part of BBC3's The Adult Season, continues with two teenage girls who are determined to have boob jobs and go on a personal journey of self-discovery along with their mums, gran and an aunt.

Taking a break from everyday life, the six women embark on a five-day road trip across the UK, immersing themselves in the world of breasts and plastic surgery. Offering help and support throughout the experience, it is the last chance the older women have to persuade the teenagers to think about making the right decision.

Thirteen-year-old Kianna has wanted a boob job ever since she can remember and is determined to go to America when she is 16 to have the operation. Since all her friends have begun to develop more quickly than her, Kianna has absolutely no body confidence and feels that she doesn't fit in. Her mum Sharon and aunt Angela delve deeper into the real reasons that mixed race Kianna wants the surgery.

17-year-old Katrina has low self-esteem and hopes plastic surgery will make her feel more confident about her body. She will get the money to pay for the operation when she turns 18, but mum Jules and gran Lola want to persuade Katrina not to go under the knife.

Along the way the families are introduced to people and witness experiences that are designed to get the teens talking openly and honestly and help inform their decision at the end of the trip. They meet a surgeon and observe a breast-augmentation procedure, discuss whether fake or real boobs are more beautiful with page three models, and get up close and personal with women who have chosen to have their breasts enlarged.

Finally, after five days together, have the shared experiences had any effect on what the girls decide?

As the American phenomenon of the children's beauty pageant hits the UK, this documentary uncovers a surreal new world where nine-year-olds get fake tans and seven-year-olds wear contact lenses. 

With the grand final of the first-ever Mini Miss UK beauty contest taking place at a leisure centre in Milton Keynes, it soon becomes clear that tantrums and tiaras may prevail over perfect poses and pouts. The mastermind behind the pageant is a middle-aged ex-beauty queen, who plans the entire event from her stairwell in Colchester. 

The film follows three girls and their mothers in the lead-up to the big event, and as they prepare to dazzle the judges the real reasons why they are desperate to be crowned Mini Miss UK become apparent. From the evangelical Christians who are convinced that God will help them win the pageant, to the disadvantaged kid for whom the contest holds the key to a better life, the film portrays an eccentric, and at times disturbing, snapshot of modern Britain.
