Scotland is famous for its Atlantic Salmon, and visitors come from around the world to try to catch one. Join a class of children on Speyside as they release salmon fry from a local hatchery into the River Isla, and discover more about the life cycle of this beautiful fish.

Bryan meets Sam and Anna Luntley who run the small and independent Bakery47 in Glasgow.

From childhood, Sam and Anna Luntley had always been interested in baking. They now work together at Bakery47, their own bakery on the south side of Glasgow.

Sam and Anna Luntley are the husband and wife team behind the small and independent Bakery47, serving breads, cakes and pastries to customers on Glasgow's south side. 

Bakery47 was founded in January 2013, with the shop opening in February 2015. Sam and Anna tell Bryan how their ‘dream job’ began in their own kitchen and grew through word of mouth in the community. As well as including a couple of recipes, they reveal why early morning is their favourite time of day and how they make a bakery deep-clean more enjoyable.

From Princess Dinosaur birthday cakes to almond croissants, in a conversation guaranteed to make mouths water, they describe the sheer pleasure of baking and why, for them, having cake or fresh bread for dinner can ‘turn the world around’.

Dance programmes for pupils aged 9 - 11. Dance Workshop aims to support non-specialist teachers who have no previous experience of teaching dance or movement. It offers opportunities for your group to explore a wide range movement types, responding to a range of stimuli including music, poetry and story. There are structured opportunities throughout the programmes to move solo, in pairs or in groups and also to appraise the work of the group as a whole. The website also includes separate music files so that you can give polished performances of the dances once you have finished rehearsing them. Dance Workshop is an ideal way to fulfil the dance objectives of the PE curriculum at Key Stage 2.
