Conal Gillespie looks at the impact of Robert Burns in Ulster, with readings and music.

With Burns Season in the air, Wilson Logan reads ‘Address to a Mouse’ and we hear some Burns-inspired music from The Ulster-Scots Folk Orchestra, Jill Bowman and Sheila Wellington. 

Professor Patrick Crotty discusses the impact of Burns on society today and we learn of Burns’ cross-community and international appeal. 

John Erskine discusses Burns’ linguistic influence and Gavin Faulkner examines Ulster-Scots spelling standards. 

Glynnis Hammond publicises the ‘Burns in Ulster’ exhibition in Derry and we hear about the 2003 Burns International Conference. 

There's news from the Schomberg Society's Burns Night Supper and music from Annalong band ‘Risin Stour’.
