The weaver poets are explored as we go back in time and visit the Bard of Dunclug.

We go back in time and visit one weaver poet known as the Bard of Dunclug and learn about the decline of the hand loom with the industrial revolution. We also hear about Hugh Porter's strong views.

The weaver poets are explored and we find out about the origin of the words 'text' and 'textile'. We go back in time and visit one weaver poet David Herbison, better known as the Bard of Dunclug, who shows us around his home and tells us how he composes poems to the rhythm of his weaving loom.  We hear about the decline of the hand loom with the industrial revolution and the rise of the steam loom.  Rhyming weaver poet Hugh Porter, the Bard of Moneyslane also shares his revolutionary views on the rights of man and on the importance of speaking the language of the land.
