This programme is about the singers and songs of the North of Ireland.  It tells some of the stories behind the songs of tradesmen, cobblers, weavers, thatchers and schoolmasters passed down and sung at kailyes about such places as, Slieve Gallion Brae, Ballydoo, Ardboe and Mullaghbawn.
