Sheila Tracey presents the second part of a concert recorded at the Spa Grand Hall, Scarborough. The BBC Big Band and conductor Barry Forgie are joined on stage by guest vocalist Marion Montgomery.
The series in which George Melly undertakes an epic journey across America, tracing the development of jazz and blues. In tonight's programme, he stops off in < Beale Street, the home of jazz and blues in Memphis, and visits the home of WC Handy, now a museum.
Brian Matthew presents the best rock 'n' roll from across the decades.
