Bishop Burnley is to leave the Church of England in protest over plans for women bishops.

Local flying bishop Andew Burnley has decided to leave the Church of England and join the Catholic Church in a protest over plans to allow women Bishops.

Vandals - Yet again a pre school in Blackbird Leys has had it's play ground vandalised.  Last week we spoke to them as they were clearing up, we will be back down today.

Bishop Resigns - Local Flying Bishop, Andrew Burnley has decided to leave the Church of England and join the Catholic church in a protest over plans to allow Women Bishops.

Living Longer - Looking at Social Care - the help given to elderly and disabled people to cope with every day activities such as washing and feeding either in their own homes or in care homes.  Looking at how this care system is having to change in order to deal with rising numbers of old people.

Rolls Royce - More trouble for the British engine manufacturer as more problems are spotted with the A380 engine.  Qantas, says it's keeping its fleet of Airbus A380s grounded for at least another three days after discovering oil leaks on three engines. 

Mercers Money - The Royal Mail is to get greater commercial freedom in an effort to help it compete with rivals. Plans announced by the postal regulator, Postcomm, could see first class stamps go up by as much as 5p.

Rings - Police are trying to find the burglars who stole rings off the fingers of an elderly lady in North Oxfordshire.  The thieves forced their way into the 80 year old's house in Chadlington and grabbed hold of her antique rings as she opened the door.

7/7 Inquest - The inquest into the July 7th suicide bombings in London has started hearing evidence about the explosion at Edgware Road. One of the most seriously injured victims has described seeing the bomber detonate his device. Daniel Biddle also described how he woke up on the tracks covered in debris, and was helped by a fellow passenger.

Chorister - Last night our sister network BBC Radio 2 hosted the Young Chorister of the Year awards.  Abingdon's Jacob Thorne was one of the four finalist boys, he'll be popping by the studio a bit later.

Royal Facebook - Her majesty the Queen has entered the Facebook generation.   Buckingham Palace says it is not a personal profile page, but users can 'like' the service and receive updates or see pictures.  The Queen has reportedly embraced the web and even sends e-mail.
