Campaign groups demand solutions and longer trains to solve rush hour crowding.

Last year, users of rush hours trains by FGW experienced more over crowding for services in to London.

Children's Heart Surgery - An NHS review has recommended the closure, putting the unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital at the bottom of a list looking at how hospitals could meet future standards.  Surgery was suspended in February, after four babies died in the space of three months. 

Overcrowding on the trains - anyone who regularly travels by train will have experienced the big squeeze.  Last year users of rush hours trains by First Great Western experienced more over crowding for services in to London.

BabyLab - Oxford University's opening the UK's first Baby Sleep Laboratory. It'll allow scientists to conduct research into how babies napping affects their learning. It's all part of the Oxford Babylab which - using local parents and their children - investigates development in infants and toddlers.

Long lost treasures - You'd expect to find the treasures of the Ashmolean Museum in the display cases... not under the floorboards.  But that's where workmen made an unexpected discovery when new radiators were being put in at the original Ashmolean building which is now the Museum of the History of Science. 

Purple Wind Turbines - Painting wind turbines purple could help to cut the number of birds and bats killed by flying into them, new research has claimed.
