[Article] The Real Rod
Janice Long admits she's long been a fan of Rod Stewart, but that didn't stop her putting some searching questions to the 41-year-old rocker when she interviewed him in London recently. 'I've been a fan since he was with the Faces, but I'm certainly not in awe of him,' says Janice. You can hear part of her interview on Wednesday (7.30) and the rest next month in a new, three-part series about the star. How did she get on with rock's notorious bad boy? 'He's a nice guy, a real good laugh. People think of him as a womaniser, but he says he's actually very shy with women. I wanted to talk about Rod Stewart the human being, not Rod Stewart the image.'
