Adrian Love chairs Radio 1's open discussion. This week:
Has Uncle Sam Moved In! What with you-know-who's fried chicken, the great American hamburger, and now telethons. Britain is beginning to look and sound more and more like America's 52nd state. At least, that's what some of the students of Hills Road Sixth-form College, Cambridge, think. Some of their colleagues, on the other hand. think we could do with more American influences in music, on television, in catering and in school.
Adrian guides them and their guests through an hour-long excursion on the Americanisation of Britain, punctuated, of course, with their own choice of records.
