Just over 18 months ago the Winterland arena in San Francisco witnessed the concert to end all concerts. In a five-hour farewell performance The Band were Joined on stage by Eric Clapton. Dr John. Neil Young. Van Morrison , Joni Mitchell , Neil Diamond. Ringo Starr , Emmylou Harris and Bob Dylan among others. Stuart Grundy was there, capturing the feeling of this historical event and later talked about it with THE BAND'S Robbie Robertson.
