During the Second World War, Hollymoor Hospital in Northfield was the largest military psychiatric institution in the country. The Army did not want experienced soldiers discharged - it wanted them cured and returned to their units. A group of psychiatrists began the controversial "Northfield Experiments".

Former patients and staff recall the collision between Freud, Adler and Jung and a rigid military hierarchy.
