Dan Walker presents the topical football show, which this week concentrates on the international scene. The first legs of the play-offs for the 2010 World Cup are featured, with the Republic of Ireland hosting 1998 World Cup winners France, who were also the runners-up in 2006. It is a tough task for the Irish, who many feel have been harshly treated after FIFA's late decision to seed the play-off draw. But Giovanni Trapattoni's men were unbeaten in all ten of their qualifying games and will be hoping to cause an upset over the two legs to reach the World Cup finals for only the fourth time in their history.

Meanwhile, England, who have already booked their place in South Africa next year, play Brazil in Qatar. Fabio Capello takes a very different view of friendlies from some of his predecessors, and the players involved in this game in the Middle East will know that a good display is vital for their hopes of being part of England's squad for next summer's World Cup. 

Wales and Scotland also meet in a friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium.

A chance to look back at the 2009 MotoGP season, where there was no shortage of excitement and talking points. Valentino Rossi went on to clinch his seventh world title.

A chance to look back at the 2009 MotoGP season, where there was no shortage of excitement and talking points. Among the highlights was the thrilling duel between eventual world champion Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo at the Catalunya Grand Prix, where Rossi just pipped his young rival after an unbelievable last lap in which the lead changed hands three times. The Italian went on to clinch his seventh world premier class title in the penultimate race of the season in Malaysia having passed another milestone at Assen in June with his 100th career victory. 

Spaniard Lorenzo just missed out on the title this season but looks sure to capture it at some point in the future after impressing hugely in only his second year in the sport's top class. Also in his second MotoGP campaign was Britain's James Toseland although it was not to be a happy season for the Yamaha Tech 3 rider, whose contract was not renewed for 2010. 

Former world champion Casey Stoner also endured his share of ups and downs, notably suffering a debilitating virus, which caused the Australian to miss three races, although he came back to finish the season in great form.

The sides last met in a dramatic match in Sydney at the 2003 World Cup, where a 22-20 win for the Scots saw them scrape into the quarter-finals. 

This game will be Andy Robinson's first as head coach of Scotland and the 45-year-old will be hoping to get off to a winning start to erase memories of his unhappy spell in charge of England, which ended in 2006 after just nine wins in 22 matches. 

Joining John in the studio will be Jonathan Davies and Jeremy Guscott while match commentary comes from Andrew Cotter and Andy Nicol.

Whilst Malcolm is in casualty the landlord is forced to reveal that he wants to build a car park on the site of the pet shop, and Malcolm and his wife Brenda face losing their home and livelihood. Yuki needs to use all his diplomacy skills when, at the end of his tether, Malcolm decides to take matters into his own hands.

F2s Yuki, May and Lenny are thrilled when Adam gives them their own patient to treat - Ruth's friend Amir, who has a history of heart problems. Ignoring advice from Jordan, the F2s follow their own course of treatment, with disastrous results. And things go from bad to worse when the patient then goes missing. The F2s hide their panic, but are individually distraught; have they really messed up this time?

Meanwhile, paramedic Polly receives some disturbing news about Alistair, which she responds to calmly. But what is affecting Polly's normally sunny disposition, and why is she behaving so strangely around certain patients?
