This week, JOHN visits London Transport's collection of trains, trams and buses at Syon Park, Brentford. Among the things he looks at are a steam locomotive and a ' Padded Cell Car ' that ran on the Underground, as well as automatic changing points and a horse bus. Producer ROGER CLARK
at Twickenham
The first of four programmes in which the former head of BBC Outside Broadcasts takes a personal look at national sporting headquarters in London. This week he visits the home of the Rugby Football Union at Twickenham and looks back over 50 years of watching and 30 years of broadcasting.
Also taking part in the programme are the Secretary of the Rugby Football Union, Air Commodore R. H. G. Weighill and former international, Peter Yarranton.
