The duo's quest takes them to a groundbreaking music festival in Stellenbosch, where gifted singers such as Luzuko Mahlaba and Pauline Malefane are given a chance to perform opera and musical theatre.

Joachim Herz's classic production for the Welsh National Opera of Puccini's emotive operatic work. Lieutenant Pinkerton is to wed the beautiful young Japanese girl Cio-Cio-San (Madam Butterfly). For him it's a temporary contract - he plans to marry a real wife on his return to America - whereas she is deeply in love. Recorded at the New Theatre in Cardiff last month.
