Storyville reveals how a postman and a gardener took on the might of McDonald's. In 1997, David Morris and Helen Steel were convicted of libelling the fast-food giants following a campaign against the corporation's policies. But in February this year they scored a landmark legal victory: the European Court ruled they should have received legal aid from the government; they were granted a total of £5,000 and a retrial.
