During the Six Day War in June 1967, Israel attacked the USS Liberty, a spy ship belonging to its closest ally, the United States, and killed 34 American servicemen. Israel has always stated that it made a tragic mistake, while survivors have claimed the truth was far darker. Christopher Mitchell's film investigates the facts behind the near-sinking of the ship and a secret alliance between Israel and America.
