See Hear’s BBC Children in Need special is on a mission to spread BSL across the nation.

See Hear is dedicating an entire programme to support BBC Children in Need and are on a mission to spread BSL across the UK. They have a very special guest to help, Pudsey!


For the first time, See Hear is dedicating an entire programme to support BBC Children in Need, and Yvonne and Julian are on a mission to spread BSL across the nation. However, they won’t be doing this alone as they have enlisted a very special guest to help them, Pudsey!

Yvonne and Julian visit projects supported and funded by Children in Need, including Deaf Action, who provide both valuable support and a community space to socialise for deaf youths. Yvonne visits Youth Vibe, a project set up by the Deafness Support Network, who run weekly activities to encourage and support young deaf people. She offers some culinary tips as the group bake Pudsey-inspired cupcakes.

Later in the programme, Pudsey is in Hertfordshire to visit one of the largest specialist schools for deaf children in the UK. Children in Need help fund a family support worker that’s made a difference to the whole school community. 

Finally, Yvonne drops in to surprise presenters from Morning Live and tests out their BSL signing... but how will they do?
