Masha is a rhythmic gymnast from Ukraine but has had to move to the UK with her brother and grandmother because of the war, leaving her parents behind. Life has been difficult without her parents, but she is keeping busy with her favourite sport and has joined the rhythmic club in Shoreham. She is being trained by new coach Alida, who happens to speak the same language, and they are working together well. Alida won a bronze medal in the British Championships and has decided to enter Masha into a competition, so they are training hard.
Meanwhile, Kosei is about to move home so that he can train at a different gym. He has come to Exeter to explore his new home town and join in a training session, where he will meet one of the club’s best gymnasts, K’Starr. K’Starr has just been chosen as team captain for the upcoming British Club Championships and is paired up with Kosei for training.
Although K’Starr is a great gymnast, he struggles with his nerves and always finds competitions stressful. However, this competition will be a bit different, as he is competing in a team rather than as an individual. Will being part of a team help calm K’Starr’s nerves? And how will he cope as team captain? Show less
