There's been widespread condemnation of one of Qatar's football World Cup ambassadors after he said that homosexuality was the result of damage to the mind. Now Plaid Cymru's leader has implored the first minister to reconsider attending Wales’s games. Adam Price said as a "gay man" he believed it would send the "wrong message" for Mark Drakeford to attend the tournament. The Welsh Government has condemned Khalid Salman’s comments but says the First Minister will still attend, and ‘will go on promoting an open, progressive Wales that is committed to the values of inclusivity and equality’.
